Social Media Marketing Associate 

Job Description

  • Develop and implement a community-focused social media strategy to boost brand awareness and drive engagement across company communities. 
  • Manage and oversee multiple social media platforms, with emphasis on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, taking full ownership and ensuring daily activity. 
  • Proactively engage with customer comments and messages in a professional, timely manner, identifying opportunities to build a positive, active community. 
  • Develop, maintain, and post from a monthly social media content calendar that aligns with the brand's strategic goals and audience engagement objectives. 
  • Collaborate with central brand marketing and growth teams to align social media strategy with broader business goals.  
  • Create and repurpose original, high-quality content (e.g., text, images, videos) that aligns with brand voice and objectives, fostering engagement and growth, with a willingness to appear in videos as needed.  
  • Track and analyze social media performance, leveraging metrics to refine strategies that drive community engagement and expansion. 
  • Closely monitor pay-per-click (PPC) ad budgets and provide detailed performance reports. 
  • Stay current with social media trends and technologies, identifying new opportunities for growth and community building. 
  • Plan and facilitate community-focused events and initiatives, such as social media contests, online discussions, and other interactive experiences. 
  • Assist with front and back-end web development as needed for social media and related tools. 
  • Support the creation and modification of existing marketing documents when required. 
  • Provide French translations upon request. 
  • Perform additional marketing associate tasks as needed.  

 

Qualifications: 

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in marketing, business, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in social media marketing, content creation, copywriting, or a similar field. 
  • Hands-on experience with content creation, including photography, videography, and editing. 
  • Comfortable appearing on camera; may be required to participate in videos. 
  • Experience with social media tools like Hootsuite, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, and Meta Business Suite is an asset. 
  • In-depth understanding of social media platforms and current best practices. 
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently, focused on achieving results. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a creative approach to problem-solving. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for presenting ideas, pitching concepts, and collaborating effectively with team members.  
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while adapting to changing priorities. 
  • Experience in the B2B dental/health sector is an asset. 
  • Some occasional travel may be required as part of the role.
